Class 44
28th September 2009

Not a popular class by the looks of things, as this is the sole example I have been asked to re-create so far. Anyway, till I am asked to recreate some more this is 44008 Penyghent modelled shortly after the open day at Toton in 1979 when it recieved at least a partial repaint, with white tyres and red backed nameplates. This version however, reflects a few weeks of work so it should be assumed that the loco is in post open day condition, in the period prior to it gaining white stripes etc. The lack of a BR double arrow is deliberate, as all the photographic evidence I have seen suggests that this was prototypical.

If Im incorrect, im 100% certain someone will soon let me know!
